The art of setting a beautiful and memorable table is not one that comes easily. Last Summer, I created and photographed this beautiful table setting, which was inspired by French architecture. A beautiful design begins with inspiration – an elegant French wedding table setting created with filigree inspired design with a Midas touch of gold to tie in all the pretty blush pinks and peach floral.
Inspired by the traditional stone color of French architecture, the blush pink and peach color palette came from not wanting to overpower the gold hints but rather create a warm tone. Presenting the colors in an elegant way was something that was very important to me. I chose a beautiful off-white color velvet to set the story. The elegant centerpiece brought the splash of color to the setting, which sat between crystal tapered candles that added warmth and a romanticism to the atmosphere. The clean modern cutlery accentuated the filigree crockery, that also added interest and texture to the table. The colored old French goblets and flute glasses completed the table setting. The added handmade paper placement cards and boutonniere tags added to the light and ethereal feel of the look. Simple, yet intricate details of old French style created this elegant French wedding table setting.
